Water Damage Restoration

Water keeps moving after the visible pooling stops. It travels down through slabs, along joists, and behind finishes, and it carries the damage with it. We extract, dry, and document the loss, then repair what the water reached.

Water damage restoration

Get it dry before it becomes a rebuild.

Every hour that water sits in a structure widens the scope of work. Fast extraction and controlled drying are what keep a water loss from turning into demolition, tenant displacement, and a much larger claim.

Call us when you have

  • A burst or frozen pipe, or a failed riser feeding multiple units
  • Sprinkler discharge, accidental or otherwise
  • A roof or facade leak that has reached occupied space
  • Sewer backup or any category three water intrusion
  • Appliance, boiler, or water heater failure
  • Flooding from storm surge or street-level water

What arrives on site

  • Truck-mounted and portable extraction units
  • Commercial dehumidifiers and air movers sized to the affected volume
  • Thermal imaging and penetrating moisture meters
  • Containment and negative air equipment where category demands it
  • A supervisor who documents the loss from the first walkthrough

What the water damage scope covers

  • Emergency water extraction and pump-out
  • Structural drying and dehumidification
  • Moisture mapping with daily readings until dry standard is met
  • Controlled removal of saturated porous materials
  • Antimicrobial treatment on affected assemblies
  • Contents protection, blocking, and packout when required
  • IICRC-certified documentation: photos, moisture maps, daily logs
  • Direct handoff into reconstruction with the same team

How it runs

Stop and extract

We isolate the source, remove standing water, and protect what has not been reached yet.

Dry to standard

Air movers and dehumidifiers are set to the affected volume, with readings logged daily rather than estimated.

Document

Moisture maps, photos, and daily logs recorded in the format your carrier expects to see.

Repair

The same team rebuilds what came out, so nothing is lost in a handoff between contractors.

Common questions

How quickly can you be on site?

We dispatch 24 hours a day, 7 days a week across the five boroughs and the surrounding New York metro. Call the office line and you will reach a person, not a queue. We do not publish a guaranteed arrival window because honest response time depends on where the property is and what is already running, and we would rather tell you the real number when you call.

How long does structural drying take?

Most losses reach dry standard in three to five days. The variables are how long the water sat before extraction, how much of it soaked into porous assemblies, and whether the affected materials can dry in place or have to come out. We take daily moisture readings and stop when the readings say the structure is dry, not when a schedule says so.

Will this be covered?

That turns on the cause of loss and the policy language on the building. What we control is the documentation. We record the loss to IICRC S500 standards from the first walkthrough, which is the evidence an adjuster needs to evaluate the claim. We coordinate directly with adjusters throughout.

Do you handle the repairs, or just the drying?

Both. Mitigation and reconstruction run through the same company, so the crew that opened the wall is accountable for closing it. That removes the gap where most water claims stall, which is the handoff between a mitigation vendor and a separate general contractor.
